U-Pod is a fast-fit system designed to build a new hospital ward in a designated indoor space to increase bed capacity. It can also be adapted to create robust, temporary bed segregation or isolation rooms within an existing ward.

U-Pods are configured using a proven freestanding partition system developed by AM-Clad and the hoarding specialist, Kwik-Klik.

The U-shaped hygienic bed bay partitions are easy to deep clean and U-Pods can play a vital role in patient segregation and supporting Infection Control measures.

The PVC system requires no drilling into the floor, which means no dust and no remedial work. No visible fixings means no trip hazards around the edges of the U-Pods.

As well as creating standardised bed bays, the flexible, modular PVC system can be adapted to create additional bespoke-sized rooms (e.g. nurse stations, or staff areas) and we can advise on bespoke configurations that optimise the use of space in the new designated ward space.

We can supply you with two versions of the same system. 

U-Pod Hygienic has hygienic, wipe-clean PVC interior wall surfaces.
The robust surfaces can be cleaned regularly and quickly.

U-Pod Antimicrobial has additional antimicrobial cladding on the interior
walls which actively kills germs and viruses and helps to create and preserve the highest levels of hygiene and infection control.
