Coca-Cola specified AM-Clad systems to transform a factory space interior into a new production area and create one of Europe’s biggest drinks bottling plants.
The project presented a huge challenge. Over 4,000 square metres of white PVC cladding was installed to create a hygienic seal around the walls and the roof eaves.
Expert thermoforming was needed to clad the triangular roof recesses which create a repeated pattern above the 1800 square metre floor area. The building’s vertical steel supports were also clad with PVC.
The 10-week installation created a bright, clean, low maintenance environment that meets UK and EU hygiene standards for food and drink production.
